Who are we?
Your trip leader will be Udaya, who was born in Nepal and has an extensive range of connections in and around the country. With many journeys both on motorbike and on foot with his friends, colleagues and clients across Nepal, travel and adventure are in his blood. Some of his earliest memories are of spending school holidays under canvas in the remotest corners of Nepal where his father, a forester and later Chief Conservator of Nepal, was working. Udaya is experienced in logistics and planning, thanks to his many years of service in the Nepalese Army. He will always be on hand whilst you are there and you can rest assured in his expertise in dealing with the sometimes challenging terrain.
Grace will also travel with you to make sure your experience is unforgettable. Coming from a background in Public Health, Grace has lived in Peru, Spain, the Netherlands, and Nepal. She is from the UK and was educated at the International University of Maastricht. She is also a qualified yoga-teacher, certified by the Pashupatinath School of Yoga. As well as working to make your trip to Nepal a great experience, she is your first contact in the UK for help with flight tickets, visas, vaccinations, (or simply what to pack!) via phone or email.
How we are different to other travel companies in the UK…
With an office in Kathmandu and and an office in Rutland we have one foot in Nepal and one foot in the UK, which will help make your time time planning the trip easier, with face to face appointments made free of charge and your time away stress free, with any last minute details taken care of by our team members on the ground in Nepal.
We will take care of you from your arrival in Kathmandu airport to the point you depart the country.
We aim to include a social aspect to our work, with each trip we take a percentage of the profit providing funds for our social projects in Nepal. We currently give to the Lalit Kumari Science Scholarship Fund, which provides outstanding students from Sindhuli District with tuition and maintenance fees for university in Nepal.
